Research Nurse

This role will be responsible for supporting coordination and management of lung transplant clinical trials and research activities. Key duties include:

  • Assist with the management of post-lung transplantation biobanks.
  • Enrol patients into wide-ranging clinical research projects.
  • Assist with ethics and research documentation.
  • Occasional weekend on-call duties may be required.

Applicants must have:

  • Registered nursing qualifications via the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 5 years acute nursing experience.
  • Proficiency in venopuncture.
  • Respiratory and relevant transplant nursing experience is advantageous.
  • Clinical research experience/qualifications and data management experience are also beneficial.
