About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Allied Health Clinician to join our team at Flourish Australia's Queanbeyan Mental Health Hub.

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based assessment and treatment to individuals accessing our services, working collaboratively with people and their families to develop personalized recovery plans.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to the growth and development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and assessments to inform individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with people accessing our services and their families to develop personalized recovery plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our service, aligning with our Strategic Plan and client demand
Requirements
  • Possession of tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Counselling, or other allied health discipline recognized by the tertiary mental health services sector
  • Eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body, including AHPRA, AASW, PACFA
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and initial screening activities, provide counseling, and assist individuals accessing our services to access necessary services
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of recovery-focused and family-inclusive practice
  • Have a clear understanding and/or knowledge of the concept and impact of mental health issues in the community
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to impart knowledge in a learning environment
  • Have a high degree of computer literacy, including demonstrated experience with report writing and electronic client information management systems
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
