Empire Group is a well-established law firm based in Brisbane, seeking an experienced Property Development Paralegal/Legal Secretary to support our Partner.
The Role
This role involves performing a mix of legal secretarial and paralegal duties, with a focus on property development files. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing contracts, settlement statements, and other documentation using PEXA;
- Assisting clients and stakeholders;
- Managing online searches and settlements;
- Using Smoke Ball precedents for drafting correspondence and documents;
- Performing calendar management, billing, and safe custody duties as required.
You will work closely with the Partner to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Conveyancing and/or Property Development Paralegal or Legal Secretary roles;
- Excellent client service and organisational skills;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The Law Firm / Salary / Benefits
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
- A salary between $70,000 and $80,000 per annum, depending on experience;
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities;
- A flexible work arrangement, including the option to work from home one day a week after initial training.
