Job Opportunity

**Macro Recruitment** is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Secondary Education Teacher** to join our team as a **Physical Education Specialist**. This is a full-time, permanent role within a leading secondary IB college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for Years 7-12 students, focusing on Physical Education and Health.
  • Supervise students during recess and coach school sports teams, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Organize and lead school programs, including interschool sports excursions, year-level camps, and whole-school carnivals.
  • Assess student progress, provide feedback, and promote health and wellness through culturally integrated activities.
  • Participate in staff meetings and maintain sports equipment, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Current teaching registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physical Education, Health, or a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive and respectful school culture.
  • Ability to lead and inspire students to achieve their best in both curricular and extracurricular activities.
