Key Responsibilities

- Work alongside four adult psychiatrists, one child psychiatrist, seven registrars, two resident medical officers, and two interns, ensuring a well-rounded support system within the mental health team.

Benefits
- Enjoy a new agreed pay deal allowing for a package of up to $497k inclusive of 11.5% employer superannuation contributions and a generous professional development allowance.
- Leave entitlements: 4 weeks annual leave + an additional week, 3 weeks professional development leave (PDL), with additional overseas PDL opportunities (conditions apply).
- Work visa sponsorship including permanent residency (conditions apply).

About the Role
- Monday–Friday 40hrs a week.
- Albany is only a 4.5-hour drive to Perth or a 1-hour flight, making it easily accessible.
- Various schooling options in the region, including public, private, and independent primary and high schools, as well as a local Grammar school.
- University of Western Australia campus.
- Supportive and motivated multidisciplinary team.
- 1 main health facility is widely supported by a network of smaller Multi-Purpose Service sites. There are approx. 100 GPs working in the region, as well as many specialists working in the health campuses, private clinics or day hospital.

Selection Criteria
- FRANZCP or equivalent qualifications gained in either NZ, UK (CCT not CESR), Ireland, Canada, USA, South Africa.
- Deep experience in adult psychiatry.
- Willingness to participate in internal teaching initiatives.
- A strong collaborative ethos.
- First class communication skills.
