Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on a wide range of technology-related legal matters, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and intellectual property.
- Negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes.
- Identify potential risks and provide strategic advice on a diverse range of risk and regulatory matters, ensuring our clients' interests are protected.
- Offer strategic guidance on emerging technology trends and their legal implications, helping our clients stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- 5+ years PQE working in Australia, with a deep understanding of technology law and experience drafting and negotiating SaaS contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian data privacy laws and regulations, including the Privacy Act.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience working on and negotiating government contracts is highly desirable.
- Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice in Australia.
