Shape the Future of Emergency Services in South Australia | Based in Adelaide, SA.
The Fire and Emergency Services sector operates under the guidance of its leadership, working with organisations to provide resources and support for volunteers and employees within the emergency services sector (ESS).
The exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic leader with relevant experience and expertise to support the Minister for Emergency Services and Correctional Services in discharging all legislative responsibilities.
You will work closely with Chief Officers of the Metropolitan Fire Service, Country Fire Service and State Emergency Service in developing and managing an integrated risk-based Emergency Management Framework, providing adequate frontline services to protect South Australia's community.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage a comprehensive Emergency Management Framework within a national context.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to initiate advancements of sector improvements and maintain key capabilities such as Public Information and Warning Systems.
- Engage with volunteer associations and unions.
