Lead Educator

Take the lead in shaping young minds at a vibrant childcare centre. As a Lead Educator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting fellow Educators and Centre Leadership Team members to develop and implement innovative early learning programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and growth in children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Lead and guide teams in creating and implementing engaging early learning programs that reflect current best practices and research.
  • Document and share children's learning and development with families through regular communication and updates.
  • Contribute to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards).
  • Prior experience in long day-care settings.
  • Sound, practical knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
  • Current Working with Children's Check.
