Catering Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Catering Attendant to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our National Bakery team, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality meals to our airline customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and loading of ovens, ensuring the production of fresh bakery items meets our high standards.
- Perform food handling, plating, and meal tray set tasks, adhering to presentation specifications and visual guides.
- Stock airline carts with dry store items, including equipment, packaged snacks, and beverages.
- Load and unload wash lines, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and HACCP guidelines, adhering to hygiene standards and cleaning schedules.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues to meet delivery timelines and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Sound numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move/lift items safely.
- Flexibility to work a 7-day roster, including shift work.
- Neat and tidy presentation, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Desirable skills include knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP, as well as basic knife skills.
- Availability to work 38 hours/week, with opportunities for career development and progression.
