Plant Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering Team, where they will utilise their trade and technical skills to support and enhance the performance of the production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards while minimising machinery downtime across the plant.

• Maintain and repair plant machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and rectify equipment breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime
• Service and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure efficient operation
• Carry out general welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required
• Ensure accurate alignment and levelling of engineering assemblies and equipment
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, adhering to industry standards
• Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support when needed
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current in your field

• Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter - Cert III
• BASIC RIGGING LICENCE
• BOOM ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM LICENCE
