At Lawyers Weekly, we are seeking a talented Director, Legal to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive strategic initiatives and influence policy and operational practices in support of the company's foreign, trade, and development policy and global corporate management functions.

The successful candidate will lead complex projects or work programs with strategic, political, and operational significance, advising senior management, Ministers, and stakeholders. Directors lead teams, manage corporate functions, including budgets, and may negotiate, advise, and litigate on high-profile international, trade, investment, regulatory, and domestic law issues.

To be considered for this role, you will require a law degree from a recognised Australian tertiary education provider or an overseas provider recognised for admission to practice in Australia. Desirable qualifications include entry in the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia or the roll of barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory.

We offer a competitive annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, as well as flexible work arrangements, including part-time hours, to ensure a great work-life balance. Our team environment is collaborative and supportive, providing opportunities for growth and development.
