About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our team at Stantec, a leading consultancy working on iconic projects in Canberra. As a Civil Designer, you will be responsible for designing and documenting civil infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater management, and water network design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document civil infrastructure projects using 12d, Civil 3d, and AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and BIM/Infraworks modelers.
  • Develop project designs based on experience and complexity.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants.
  • Adhere to professional standards, ethics, and Stantec quality procedures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environment.
  • Good technical design background in aspects of roads and civil design, including bulk earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, sewer, and water network design.
  • Experience using 12D, with Civil 3d also considered.
  • Experience in stormwater management, including packages such as TUFLOW, MUSIC, DRAINS, and 12d pit and pipe design.
