About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our Critical Infrastructure Telecommunications team in a full-time permanent role. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of critical infrastructure equipment, including DC Power Systems, Uninterruptable Power Systems, and Solar Hybrid Power Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design of turnkey Critical Infrastructure equipment, including DC Power Systems, Uninterruptable Power Systems, and Solar Hybrid Power Systems.
  • Support the design and construction team to manage end-to-end projects, including forecasting materials, detailed quotes, and engineering solutions.
  • Regularly consult with construction crews and supervisors to optimize design outcomes and improve processes.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding products, specifications, and delivery schedules, and clients to meet desired design and project outcomes.
About You
  • You will have an electrical background, with experience in electrician, electrical engineer, or worked with electronics.
  • Practical experience is highly regarded, such as working as a field technician or exposure to the telecommunications, maintenance, or construction industries.
  • You will have the ability to use various computer packages, including Excel, Access, and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
