This role will be initially on a 3-month contract with a well-known Australian Tier 2 builder. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and change orders.
  2. Monitor progress and address issues to keep projects on track.
  3. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards throughout all project phases.
  4. Implement and oversee quality assurance measures.
  5. Coordinate meetings with subcontractors, teams, and clients.
  6. Manage defects rectification and close-outs.
  7. Address and resolve design issues that arise during the construction process.
  8. Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  9. Facilitate collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely and cost-effective delivery.

Requirements:

  1. A tertiary qualification in Construction Management/Engineering or a related discipline.
  2. Proven knowledge of the construction process (approx. 4 years).
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail.
