About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Link Group. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the delivery of high-quality business analysis activities to support the successful implementation of various client-specific projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work closely with project managers and other business analysts to deliver high-quality projects on time, on budget, and to the required standards.
  2. Contribute to the successful delivery of revenue-generating work for our clients.
  3. Undertake root cause analysis to identify business/system problems and develop pragmatic solutions for rectification.
  4. Facilitate discussions at workshops to understand stakeholder needs and preferences.
  5. Work with business and client stakeholders to investigate, define, and document business requirements within specified timeframes.
  6. Review legislation, initiative briefs, or other supporting material to understand the impacts on our business.
  7. Model, analyze, and document business process flows to ensure seamless integration.
  8. Collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors to create system solutions that meet business needs.
  9. Prepare test plans, test cases, and complete system testing against agreed business requirements.
  10. Develop training and handover materials, with the ability to present changes to business and support teams.
  11. Provide post-implementation warranty support to minimize disruption to business users.
  12. Assist business users with user acceptance testing to ensure smooth project delivery.
  13. Work proactively with peers to identify and implement ongoing process improvements.
  14. Display role model behaviors, with the ability to actively collaborate with others.
  15. Apply standard change and business analyst methodologies to ensure effective management of business and IT change impacts.
  16. Adhere to risk management procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  17. Awareness of RAID management, with the ability to identify and escalate issues as appropriate.
Requirements
  1. 3 years of business analysis and project delivery experience, including supporting and implementing system/process enhancements.
  2. Demonstrated awareness of business analysis concepts and techniques, including BABOK.
  3. Understanding of basic project methodologies, including Agile.
  4. Experience in the finance/superannuation industry.
  5. Ability to problem-solve and interpret ambiguous requirements.
  6. Excellent analytical skills, presentation skills, and oral and written communication skills.
  7. SQL skills and experience (desired but not essential).
  8. Experienced with Microsoft suite of tools and competent user of Service Now, Jira, and SharePoint.
  9. Ability to work well under pressure and be self-driven.
