Overview

Doctors at Morayfield is a thriving mixed billing practice located in the heart of the suburb. As a sought-after Medical Director, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals and provide high-quality patient care.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a VR GP to join our established clinic as a Medical Director. With a strong focus on delivering excellent clinical care, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, including staff supervision, patient management, and maintaining high standards of care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth practice operations
  • Manage patient flow and optimize workflow to minimize wait times
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track practice performance
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and the local community

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes:

  • A base salary of $200,000 per annum
  • A productivity bonus of up to $50,000 per annum, based on individual and team performance
  • An attractive superannuation package
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within the practice

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Postgraduate qualification in general practice or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in general practice, with a focus on leadership and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
