Support Individuals with Disabilities as a Care Worker

We are seeking highly motivated and reliable individuals to join our team of healthcare professionals in supporting and empowering people with disabilities.

About the Role

This role involves working independently within local communities, providing personal care assistance and light domestic tasks such as cleaning and cooking. You will also be responsible for assisting clients with transportation and accompanying them on outings for recreational activities, shopping, and other purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with light domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Accompany clients on outings for recreational activities, shopping, and other purposes
  • Transport clients to appointments and other destinations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification in disability support or related field (an asset)
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to work short shifts, mornings, and evenings
