Campus Maintenance Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Campus Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, maintenance, and development of our school grounds and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that meet our expectations and exceed our students' needs.

In this role, you will be working closely with our administration and maintenance teams to ensure seamless delivery of services. Your duties will include:

  • Maintenance of clean and tidy school grounds;
  • Minor landscaping work;
  • Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs;
  • Liaising with onsite contractors;
  • Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials;
  • Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities;
  • Assist with setting up significant school events;
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • A commitment to Safeguarding.
