About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Cairns, Australia. As a key member of our Transport group, you will be responsible for delivering civil design projects to a high standard, within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake design and study of civil infrastructure work on diverse projects, including coastal engineering paths, bikeways, and civil components of major developments.
  • Communicate and liaise with clients and authorities while delivering projects drawings and reports.
  • Develop and nurture relationships within AECOM and local industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and CPEng, RPEQ (or working towards).
  • 4+ years' experience with project management and technical delivery of civil infrastructure projects, including coastal engineering works, footpaths, and civil components on major developments.
  • Familiarity with 3D modelling software such as 12D or Civil 3D in Civil Infrastructure projects.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, technical work.
  • Experience working in an Engineering consultancy will be an advantage.
