About the PositionAs a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You will carry out a range of cleaning duties throughout the home and may assist with laundry when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and carpet cleaning
- Managing waste and restocking supplies
- Using cleaning products safely and correctly
- Following infection control procedures
- Helping to maintain a tidy and hazard-free environment
- Assisting with laundry when required
- Previous cleaning experience (aged care experience is an advantage)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe work practices
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow routines and work independently
- A welcoming and supportive team environment
