Key Accountabilities

  • Lead a team of Case Managers to ensure a high standard, consistency in information release under the legislation and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with court orders and legislation by fulfilling the Commissioner's obligations regarding document production in Queensland and interstate.
  • Support the Manager RTI as required, providing guidance and assistance to team members for effective legislative compliance.
  • Process complex subpoenas and other legal processes served upon the Commissioner, including quality assurance checks for privileged material within timeframes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including courts, legal practitioners and Crown Law officers on matters relating to document production.
  • Develop and implement efficient information release procedures to ensure ongoing compliance, providing expert advice to the Director and Manager.
  • Provide comprehensive briefings to Legal Officers for objections raised on behalf of the Commissioner, ensuring representation in subsequent legal proceedings.
