About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at dnata catering. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient acceptance of inbound goods and stores destined for use in the catering area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Ensure goods required by the catering team are available on time and in the required quantities.
  • Stock Control: Ensure delivered items are packed to acceptable hygiene and other specifications.
  • Storage Management: Ensure the availability of goods and rotation where necessary.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Manage the stock in the store effectively to ensure space is available for incoming goods as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the company's policy in relation to HACCP, QSAI, and WHS in accordance with Federal and State Government Regulations.
  • Perishable Item Management: Ensure all perishable items delivered are color-coded stamped and stamped with acceptance date.
  • Problem Prevention: Anticipate potential problems and take appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships based on clear KPI's supported by an effective review mechanism that drives ongoing process and operational improvement.
Requirements
  • Forklift License: Must hold a forklift license with experience, high reach license preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety: Good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements.
  • Halal Policies: Basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures.
  • WHS Knowledge: Good knowledge of WHS.
  • Storehouse Knowledge: Good knowledge of Storehouse and procedures.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills.
  • Product Knowledge: Excellent product knowledge.
  • Police Check: As you will be working in the Aviation Services industry, you will be required to obtain a clear National Police Check.
  • Availability: Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
