About the role

We are seeking an experienced Store Associate to join our team. The primary goal of this position is to provide exceptional support to the store through efficient receiving and storage operations; to enable the store to exceed customer expectations and meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling customer & supplier inquiries, in person and over the phone, and providing solutions
  • Supporting store staff by providing information on orders/ETAs to assist with customer service
  • Placing items on order for special customer requests
  • Monitoring online customer orders and ensuring courier pick up
  • Checking all deliveries received against delivery docket upon receipt
  • Ensuring invoice details match exactly to purchase order
  • Unloading orders and unpacking
  • Moving stock to designated areas on the sales floor or store room in a timely manner
  • Forklift operation
  • Coordinating returns and liaising with suppliers as needed

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.
