Research Operations Lead

This full-time role involves leading research operations, managing site research staff in South Australia, and driving successful trial conduct.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory, administrative, and clinical frameworks to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure all research is conducted in accordance with established protocols, Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Foster a team culture that supports performance and adheres to the company's values.
  • Collaborate with other business units and staff to achieve milestones and manage study issues effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including sponsor representatives.
  • Participate in Research Sub-Committee meetings and provide reports as required.
    • Recruit and onboard new staff members.
    • Mentor and develop new staff to achieve performance goals.
    • Implement regular team meetings and communicate management strategies effectively.
    • Support the Quality Team to identify and proactively manage quality risks and issues.

We're looking for individuals with:

  • An undergraduate degree in Science, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • A proven background in clinical research and demonstrated leadership skills to initiate and drive change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer literacy with knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite.
