**Job Opportunity:** Looking for a career in aged care that offers flexibility and on-the-job training? Our organisation is seeking new team members to join our local community care team. As a Community Support Worker, you will be visiting clients in their homes and providing support with daily living tasks such as domestic assistance, shopping, meal preparation, transportation, and social activities.

**About the Role:** We are looking for people who have a great attitude, are reliable, and willing to learn. You will receive on-the-job training in Certificate III in Individual Support and will be paid to attend buddy shifts, regular shifts, and training days. You will also have the opportunity to progress to additional services such as personal care, respite, catheter care, and more.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Visit clients in their homes and provide support with daily living tasks
  • Assist with domestic assistance, shopping, meal preparation, and other daily tasks
  • Transport clients to and from medical appointments and social activities
  • Support clients with personal care needs such as showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting

**Requirements:**

  • Have a great attitude and be reliable
  • Be willing to learn and work
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable Persons Card
  • Have a current ACT driver's licence and a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Be an AU or NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident

**What We Offer:**

  • Competitive hourly rate starting from $24.65+
  • Flexible days and hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
