Business Assurance and Advisory Services Manager Role

The successful candidate will lead the execution of assurance and advisory services, including risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.

  • Leading assurance and advisory services around risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Managing teams to deliver business process / IT assurance / audit engagements, including evaluating and designing controls in support of external and internal audits as well as program assurance engagements.
  • Assisting in preparing and reviewing reports for stakeholders.
  • Nurturing client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Opportunities to develop skills in emerging technology risk areas, such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cyber security.
  • Partnering with internal and external teams to address compliance, financial, and operational risk, assessing current state internal controls and frameworks to mitigate current and emerging risks.
  • Working effectively across multiple internal and external teams, building strong relationships across consulting and assurance teams and with clients.
  • Ensuring client deliverables are on time and to the standard expected by the client and engagement partner/principal.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • A passion for assurance and advisory services.
  • One or more years of experience in providing assurance or advisory services over risk and controls (business process and/or IT general controls), program and project risk management services, regulatory compliance, and controls transformation.
  • A practical and solution-oriented approach to assess new technology and evaluate and advise on impact, risk, and remediation.
  • High-level communication and engagement skills, including exceptional report writing abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and commercially focused attitude.
  • Inspiring leadership capability with the motivation to develop others, build high-performing teams, and effectively delegate with appropriate levels of support.
  • Excellent project management skills, including leading fieldwork.
