Electrical Automation Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Automation Project Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Professional with a strong background in electrical and automation engineering to work on various Capital Projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Programming of PLCs: Proficiency in programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Safety PLCs, including experience in automation interfacing and protocols such as Profibus & Profinet.
  • Automation Work Packages: Setting up new PLC hardware and software from scratch, navigating and understanding code in existing PLCs, developing and authoring commissioning and test plans to validate safety PLC code.
  • Human Machine Interface (HMI): Programming of Human Machine interface programming and specification with exposure to brands such as Citect, Panel View and WinCC.
  • Project Technical Performance: Creating project technical performance specifications, safety requirement specifications and functional descriptions.
  • Technology Selection: Selecting the appropriate technology for projects (PLC, Drive, Instruments, Sensors, Valves, Actuators, MCC, Motors, etc.) and ensuring that they are fully compatible.

Requirements
  • Degree: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical and automation engineering.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, proficiency in MS Office.
