About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Facilities and Catchment Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and operability of our water supply headworks scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake regular dam surveillance and maintenance activities to ensure the integrity of our water supply infrastructure
  • Maintain grounds and facilities around water supply infrastructure, including inspection, assessment, and reporting
  • Supervise contractors tasked with undertaking works on infrastructure
  • Exercise and report on infrastructure condition

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in grounds, site, and facilities maintenance, including inspection, assessment, and reporting
  • Current Driver's License with the ability to tow and maneuver trailers
  • General Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the application, operation, and maintenance of various hand tools and small plant applicable to site, grounds, and facilities maintenance
  • Sound literacy, numeracy, computing, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with autonomy and as part of a team
  • Willingness and ability to participate in an after-hours on-call roster
