Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Scentre Group. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and operation of cloud platforms, data, integration, and analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automated deployments using infrastructure-as-code cutting-edge technologies.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in system performance, cost, capacity, and reliability.
  • Implement new technologies within the Google Cloud space to improve processes.
  • Build and maintain high availability systems through automation and self-service to application and business teams.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, including configuration support manuals, as the environment evolves.
  • Uplift governance on the GCP platform and develop self-service cost management dashboards.
  • Develop and optimize continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Undertake regular analysis of cloud workloads and optimize by providing rightsizing and reducing costs.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated (5+ years) experience working with GCP and a proven track record of building cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of GCP VPC, security, and monitoring, and experience implementing best practices.
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, Terraform, GitHub, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker, Helm, Rancher, and Vault.
  • Proficient in CICD tools and technologies, including Jira, GitHub, Buildkite, Grafana, ArgoCD, and Atlantis.
