Job Summary

Newmont Mining is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Boilermaker Apprentice. As a Boilermaker Apprentice, you will work with a team of skilled trades personnel to maintain, repair, and fabricate the various components of our Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete a 4-year apprenticeship program to gain comprehensive on-the-job experience and classroom training required to successfully and confidently complete your nationally recognized trade qualification.
  • Work with a team of skilled trades personnel to maintain, repair, and fabricate the various components of our Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet, including bucket, tray, and handrail repairs, fabrication of new components, and day-to-day maintenance activities.
  • Participate in a 5:2:4:3, 7:7, or 8:6 roster, depending on the specific requirements of the role.

Requirements

  • Hold a C-class driver's license (provisional licenses are accepted).
  • Have an interest in fabrication, welding, and mining mobile equipment.
  • Be enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to learn.
