Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Expertise: You will have in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and the ability to collaborate with a broad range of AWS teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
  2. Solution Delivery: You will provide advice and support the delivery technical engagements with partners and customers, participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer security and compliance requirements, and proposing and delivering packaged offerings.
  3. Project Execution: Engagements include short on-site projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services.
  4. Business Development: You will contribute and lead engagements and initiatives to assist with growing the Professional Services Security business.
  5. Feedback Loop: You will work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
  6. Practice Management: You will contribute to the management of the practice, including knowledge transfer and mentoring.
  7. Quality Assurance: Providing assurance services to ensure we understand and manage the quality of security and delivery outcomes internally and externally, including technical activities such as solution review.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
  • 10+ years of security, compliance and risk management experience
  • 5+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience
  • 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience
