Cloud Data Engineering Leadership

This position plays a key role in client business requirement understanding and contributing to the design with deep experience in Cloud data platforms, ETL pipeline automation, and test engineering leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Data Analytics Platform that integrates claim, portfolio, and pricing data from various source systems.

  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a focus on developing reusable, maintainable code.
  • Experience designing and developing software components and frameworks as part of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
  • Solid skills in SQL for data processing, transformation validation, and performance optimization.

The Cloud Data Engineer will lead testing efforts, guide offshore teams, and ensure quality across Cloud-based data engineering projects.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain software components and automation frameworks to support scalable data engineering and validation solutions.
  2. Build and enhance Python-based automation tools to validate ETL workflows between databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  3. Develop reusable code for data validation, transformation testing, and reconciliation across large-scale data platforms.
  4. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Cloud data platforms, ETL pipeline automation, and test engineering leadership.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent SQL skills for data processing, transformation validation, and performance optimization.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience leading testing efforts and guiding offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
