About the Role:
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Management to drive daily operations and ensure the team meets business targets.
  • Develop and implement effective shipment planning strategies to manage container arrivals, unloading, collection, and variance reporting.
  • Oversee the stock put-away process to guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and minimal damage.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of shortages and damage to incoming goods.
  • Maintain equipment within the site, including forklifts.
  • Provide line management to the team, coordinating workloads, providing support, and monitoring performance against KPI targets and quality standards.
  • Foster a culture of compliance with company policies, guidelines, directions, and QA practices.
  • Work closely with the Incoming Supervisor to optimise team performance.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate prior experience as a Team Leader or similar role.
  • Knowledge or practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills complemented by a customer-centric approach.
  • Forklift Licence.
