Job Opportunity: Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Warehouse Specialist to manage our store's inventory in Cairns, QLD.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Warehouse Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming goods, operating equipment to lift and move goods, and conducting regular stocktakes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, checking for damage and discrepancies
  • Operating computers to obtain details of item location and quantity
  • Packing and weighing goods, sealing boxes
  • Operating machinery to lift and place goods on high levels
  • Conducting regular stocktakes to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Safety-conscious attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
  • Will to upskill and take on new challenges

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a busy warehouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to lift and move heavy objects, and wear personal protective equipment when necessary.
