About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Veterinary Clinic Assistant, contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our experienced veterinarians and nurses, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our hospitalised patients.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing basic necessities such as food, water, and cleaning of living spaces
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised hospital environment
  • Supporting our team in achieving common goals
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

We Seek

  • Certificate II (or equivalent) in Animal Studies or higher is desirable but not required
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic setting is highly desirable
  • Passion for delivering outstanding animal and patient care
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Thorough understanding of WHS principles as it relates to working in a boarding facility or clinic environment
  • Commitment to a positive work ethic aligned with our core values
  • Own reliable transport
  • Ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced conditions
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask
  • Completed or willing to obtain Fear Free Pets certification
  • Positive attitude with a great sense of humour
