We are looking for a skilled Power BI and Tableau Support Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. As a BI professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality business intelligence solutions, ensuring seamless data analytics and reporting.

Your primary focus will be on administering Tableau Server, including installation, configuration, and migration of applications. You will act as the Single Point of Contact and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our BI applications, providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

You will manage and collaborate with offshore team members to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring timely issue resolution and effective communication. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating database connections and DSN configurations, documenting processes, change implementations, and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Tableau Server, configure email alerts on system failure, and keep servers up-to-date with regular software patches and recommendations.
  • Analyze, replicate, and identify the root cause of issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Create database connections and DSN configurations, document processes, change implementations, and incidents.
  • Design and develop data visualizations using multiple tools like Tableau and Power BI, collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver dashboards and train users on visualization tools.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, interact with clients, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in support and maintenance of Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx environments.
  • Experience with backup & restore of Tableau server, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of production migration, resolving performance issues, and report scheduling.
  • Ability to interact with vendors, flexibility with timings as per client needs.
  • Development experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Azure is desired.
