About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our team at JPS Medical. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of junior staff.

Location: Our hospital is located in a picturesque coastal town with a strong sense of community and a vibrant shopping district. The local area is renowned for its produce, with award-winning cheese and whisky available at the factory outlet and cellar door.

Facility: Our hospital is a modern 160-bed facility that provides high-quality healthcare to the local region. We have a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School and offer services in medical, surgical, and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have onshore experience in emergency medicine or be a CA pathway doctor with the Advanced Standing Certificate. You will be required to supervise more junior staff and contribute to the development of our emergency department.
