We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to join our dynamic Melbourne disputes and investigations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As a Senior Lawyer, you will collaborate closely with our leading Partner specialising in Corporate Recoveries. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and managing litigation matters
  • Corresponding with clients and other parties
  • Preparing court documents
  • Client relationship management
  • Attending mediations and conducting court appearances
  • Providing mentorship to a cohort of junior lawyers and paralegals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience with proven experience in banking litigation and insolvency and mortgage enforcement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills building rapport with colleagues and stakeholders
  • To manage timeframes and priorities within a team
  • Demonstrate a collaborative work approach
