About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Shellharbour. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and promoting overall well-being.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and mobility issues.

What We Look for in a Care Worker
  • You are passionate about supporting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • You are able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help when needed.
  • You are available to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
