WorkSafe Lifting Training Instructor

We are seeking a qualified professional to deliver WorkSafe licensed training courses. The successful candidate will have experience in dogging and rigging operations, including crane operations.

This full-time role involves delivering engaging and relevant training services, supervising students, and maintaining equipment and training venues. Travel may be required to deliver training off-site.

  • Deliver accredited training courses meeting ASQA/RTO Standards and other applicable regulations.
  • Supervise student behavior and provide motivating training.
  • Maintain equipment, training venues, and training aids to ensure they are safe for operation.

A professional educator with fantastic people skills, a proven specialist lifting background, and a passion for sharing learnings is ideal for this role. Key responsibilities include:

  • A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/Assessor and hold current industry skills.

This role requires holding a Cert IV TAE, possessing a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL), demonstrated lifting operations experience, and accreditation by WorkSafe as an Individual Assessor. Eligibility to obtain a Working with Children Check Card and a Police Check is also necessary.
