We are seeking an experienced Quality & Systems Assurance Manager to join our team at the Hope Island Station project, a key component of the Cross River Rail New Gold Coast Stations program.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on delivering a new train station, car park, intersection upgrades, and associated services in Hope Island, Gold Coast.
About the Role:
- As Quality & Systems Assurance Manager, you will assist with coordinating technical issues, planning, resourcing, survey, procurement, and quality control for assigned areas.
- You will cover typical Quality Assurance requirements and manage rail assurance systems and quality plans while providing documentation and evidence across project stage gates.
- The role involves identifying relevant project lifecycle gates, acquiring approvals according to the railway integrity assurance plan, and providing integrity assurance reports, assessing compliance, and making recommendations.
- You will also assess potential risks associated with the system and develop risk mitigation strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- Recent experience working in systems engineering and assurance on rail projects
- 5+ years of systems engineering and assurance management experience
- Proven experience working with Queensland Rail and an understanding of the Rail Safety National Law (Queensland) Act 2017
- Ability to manage project audit schedules, ensure all external/client/process audits are undertaken as required, and encourage a culture of disclosure and open discussion for all assurance and quality matters
- Possessing the relevant tertiary qualifications
