The Legal & Compliance professional will provide sound, pragmatic commercial legal advice to the business, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with local regulations. This role is part of an expanding global legal team within a market-leading pharmaceutical company.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, including clinical trial agreements, IT agreements, supply agreements, and service agreements.
- Providing privacy advice, coordinating with the global legal team for local compliance, and liaising with external lawyers regarding competition and trademark/patent matters.
- Implementing and managing the company's compliance framework, ensuring adherence to local industry codes, and delivering training to staff on privacy laws, ethics, third-party due diligence, and whistleblowing.
To be successful, you should have 5+ years' experience in commercial law, including drafting commercial agreements, some exposure to IP law, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to explain business risks in lay terms.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal & Compliance professional who can deliver sound commercial legal advice and support the business in mitigating risk.
