About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre Southport. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense and supply medications for hospital and cancer patients
  • Manufacture specialised drugs in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment
  • Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
  • Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards
  • Complete data entry of patient specific information into database
  • Assist with patient account enquiries
  • Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
  • Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have a strong attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.

Requirements

  • Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
