Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication between patients and our clinical staff, handling administrative tasks with accuracy and efficiency, and maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet patients, provide a great first impression, and ensure a smooth check-in process
  • Book and amend appointments, answer phone calls, update patient records, and maintain accurate scheduling
  • Support the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice, including administrative tasks and special projects
  • Maintain open communication with patients, answer questions, and address concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle payments, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Access sensitive information while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients in a friendly and approachable manner. You should also have strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in performing administrative tasks. Experience in a similar role or within the healthcare industry would be highly regarded but not essential.

Working Hours and Benefits:

This is a full-time opportunity working Tuesday to Friday, 7:45am - 6:15pm, with every Monday off. A competitive salary package is on offer, including an estimated $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on location and level of experience.
