Job OverviewThe Senior Quality Analyst will play a pivotal role in helping REA become the market leader in property data, supporting FY25 OKRs to become the property data authority.
This position assumes responsibility for overall data quality strategy, coaching, and mentoring team members for quality outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional squads to ensure stability, availability, and reliability of data pipelines and APIs.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement quality strategies for new data pipelines and APIs using data platforms like Kafka, Flink, BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow/Breeze.
- Monitor data quality, recommend improvement activities, and identify, track, and remediate data quality issues.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze and produce data coverage and quality statistics across internal and external data sets.
- Champion quality software delivery from inception to deployment, working with stakeholders to communicate technical options and report on progress.
- Coach and share knowledge with squads on data quality practices, advocating for shared quality responsibility.
- Liaise with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Delivery Leads to ensure quality strategies meet their requirements.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A mix of data test automation and contract/service/API test automation experience (a plus).
- Passion for data, expert problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated skills in defining and implementing data quality strategies for multiple teams.
- Ability to extract, transform, and analyze data using tools like SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with dev-ops tools, particularly AWS, CloudFormation, and Docker (a plus).
- Track record of delivering software to high-quality standards and deploying it to production.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
