The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is a place of hope and rehabilitation for men and women struggling with social and spiritual challenges. We are seeking a Sales and Production Associate to join our team in the production store. This individual will be responsible for maintaining order and creating a pleasant work environment, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Assist with sorting and processing donations, including clothes, accessories, and household items.
  • Help to create an attractive and inviting shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Cashier/Sales Floor Responsibilities:
  • Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and returns.
  • Sort, price, stock, and display merchandise in a visually appealing manner.
  • Restock shelves and displays as needed, maintaining a tidy and organized appearance.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
Sorter Responsibilities:
  • Sort donations by department and category, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with moving donations to the sorting table as needed.
  • Help to hang merchandise on rolling racks from the sorting table.
Hanger/Tagger Responsibilities:
  • Hang and ticket clothing items on rolling racks, categorizing by department and color code.
  • Assist with sorting clothing items as needed.
  • Help to run clothing racks as required.
Pricer Responsibilities:
  • Price garments using a wide range of prices determined by style, quality, and condition.
  • Acquire knowledge of name brand merchandise and value.
  • Assist with moving donations to the sorting table as needed.
  • Help to ticket merchandise as needed.
Runner Responsibilities:
  • Place garments from the production room to the sales floor on the proper rack, maintaining department, category, and color order.
  • Straighten and maintain clothing racks as assigned.
  • Rag out merchandise according to the Territorial ARC Rag Out Calendar.
Donations/Maintenance Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, bathrooms, entry, windows, sidewalks, and parking areas.
  • Accept donations while providing courteous and respectful service to donors.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds.
  • Receive and receipt donated materials in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Safeguard donated materials and assigned equipment.
