This Horticultural Assistant job offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with daily tasks such as propagation, potting, pruning, weeding, watering, fertilising, mowing, and monitoring plant health. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out these tasks efficiently and effectively.

As a Horticultural Assistant, you will also be involved in operating farm machinery, vehicles, irrigation, and climate control systems, provided you have received proper training and authorisation. You will assist with technical R&D activities such as trials, data collection, pollination, seed collection, and maintaining accurate breeding records.

The role requires strong organisational and time management skills, as well as a high level of skill in the Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential. A relevant qualification in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure high-quality outcomes, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.">
  • Maintain confidentiality, support data accuracy, and uphold integrity in all documentation and plant breeding activities.">
