We are seeking an experienced Data Management Analyst to join our team at the Environment Protection Authority. As a key member of our Data Strategy, Management and Transformation team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality information and data management services and support aligned to our strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Act as custodian of the Information Asset Register, engaging with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that information assets are registered, reviewed, maintained, and disposed of in compliance with Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and Public Record Office Victoria directions.
- Maintain the Information Asset Register in Share Point, revising and updating associated guidance and support material at least annually, or more frequently if required.
- Work in partnership with the Data Governance team to understand the Data Governance framework and help deploy the framework within the cloud environment, including management of data risks and controls.
- Support the Records Officer in managing physical records when necessary.
- Knowledge of information and data management concepts with experience in supporting the implementation of Information Management and Data Management policies.
- Experience in maintaining information governance tools, such as an Information Asset Register, Business Classification Scheme, etc.
- Knowledge of and experience in applying digital records management tools, such as Records365 (Record Point).
