About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at InterCare Staffing And Employment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients living in the Lower North Shore area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, personal grooming, and mobility
  • Assist clients with medication management, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Support clients with socialization, companionship, and emotional well-being
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies
Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Disability Support
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • National Police Check
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
