Senior Systems Engineer Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be part of our team responsible for delivering complex Defence projects that protect Australia's future.

Our team works on various projects including defence and national security initiatives. We are seeking experienced professionals with a strong background in systems engineering to join our permanent workforce.

We're interested in hearing from candidates with experience aligned with the below roles:

  • Defence Systems Engineers (V&V, T&E)
  • Communications or Electronics Systems Engineers
  • Combat Systems Engineers
  • Integration and Test Engineers

Key Responsibilities Include:

Job Description

You will work closely with our team to design and develop systems that meet our clients' requirements. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand project needs and developing solutions that meet those needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working in Land, Communications, Navy, Space or other Defence sectors
  • Experience with Validation and Verification (V&V), Test and Evaluation (T&E), System Design, Safety Engineering and/or systems concepts and specifications
  • Strong engineering experience in a hands-on role as well as ability to consult and lead projects
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and stakeholder management
  • Qualified/certified Engineer or holding an equivalent engineering qualification
